If you step into a space that has been created from the showroom floor, you know right away. It will look neat, but it will lack character. The houses that people love the most are the ones that convey their occupants through subtle touches, such as the perfect color for the lighting and the furniture to match your lifestyle. This is the concept behind Designhaus Interiors (DHI), which was established by Vera Bahou-Akruk in 2002.
What Does a Complete Home Interior Design Service Include?
A home interior design consultation is not just about choosing colors and cushions but is more about knowing you and designing the place according to your life. These services include:
- Space Planning
- Kitchen and bath design
- Window treatments
- Furniture and accessories
- Color selections and finishes
As everything here is managed by Vera, you will have only one interior designer who will be working with you from beginning to end. All our clients are updated on everything, and there are no surprises, as we communicate with each client on a one-to-one basis.
How Do You Choose Between Different Interior Design Styles?
Homeowners tend to know what they don’t like about a design concept much earlier than they know what they actually like. Researching various interior design styles is an efficient way to find out more about preferences. Classical style focuses on symmetry and elaborate decorations; transitional style combines traditional cosiness and elegance with the simplicity of modern style. Coastal and farmhouse styles provide a feeling of relaxation.
You do not need to follow just one style and stick to its strict rules. The ability of Vera to play with colours and create custom designs gives her the opportunity to combine styles to create something unique and personal. Your style needs to fit your way of life.
What Is Luxury Interior Design? Quality in the Details
Luxury interior design is hardly about opulence; rather, it’s all about quality, proportion, textures, and finishes that stand the test of time. Vera learned what luxurious finishes look like when working in Florida for Robb & Stucky on complete interior projects, and this is the quality she applies to all her work.
DHI works in tandem with skilled craftsmen, fabricators, and master artisans in order to provide unique accents that make each space truly luxurious but at the same time remain comfortable for daily life, whether those are special window treatments or custom pieces of furniture made just for your corner.
