Relaxation Retreat-Doylestown
An elevated condominium retreat designed for a life well lived. Warm textures, thoughtful proportions, and timeless design details create a serene backdrop for relaxed days, meaningful moments, and a refined approach to retirement. The client envisioned a space anchored in comfort yet effortlessly elegant for entertaining—featuring inviting, tailored furnishings, calming grey tones, and subtle geometric patterns for visual interest. Dining chairs reupholstered in trend forward lighting add a sculptural edge, while a custom live-edge side console was thoughtfully introduced to complement the client’s existing William Morris–inspired tall cabinet, bringing warmth, character, and a touch of artisan craftsmanship to the space.
Dining Area Wall Elevation – Final Installed View
This dining elevation reflects Designhaus’ approach to refined, livable luxury. Clean architectural lines from the existing stair railing are softened by a centrally placed round mirror, creating balance and visual calm. Below, an artisan-crafted live-edge side table adds sculptural warmth and organic contrast, thoughtfully aligned to create symmetry with the tall wood cabinet opposite. A round wood dining table layered over a patterned area rug grounds the space with texture and ease. The composition is intentional yet effortless—where natural materials, proportion, and restraint come together in a timeless Designhaus expression.
Client Review
“I needed someone to design my studio apartment, but I have very particular taste. After speaking with over ten designers, I immediately knew Vera was the right fit. Her passion, ambition, and attention to detail set her apart. She took the time to truly understand my lifestyle—my hobbies, interests, and what made the space feel personal. The result exceeded every expectation. The design is truly special, and I couldn’t be happier. I would absolutely work with her again and recommend her to anyone looking to design or remodel. A flawless experience.”
